Water Spirit Flowing
 
I have always been closely connected to water and that connection is growing stronger and deeper all the time. This flute is inspired by all that water is. Water is life. Water is creation and also destruction making way for new creation. Water is energy. Water is cleansing and healing. Water is calm. Water is ferocious. Water is moving and still. Water is Spirit. There is so much wisdom within water and water remembers. Water moves along the easiest path and is patient to work slowly. To find this path when the way seems blocked. To sit and contemplate how to move. To sink slowly within the heart of Mother Earth and to fall in all sorts of ways from the heart of Father Sky. Water is beauty. Water is graceful. Water is powerful. Water is flow. It is my intention that the songs of this flute will carry healing and creative inspiration to all those who hear her Spirit singing within the them. In great honour of water I name this flute

She is in the key of C tuned to 528Hz. The stone inlays are Turquoise which remind me of the sky on the day I was walking in the forest and the story of this flute began. She is made of Hazel I foraged in Oxfordshire, UK. The totem is made of Black Locust that my Dad foraged from the eastern United States and is held in place with leather lace from North American Whitetail Deer hide and has Turquoise eyes.The lashing around the body to the flute artificial sinew and the feathers are Barn Owl and Red Kite which as always were found while I am walking with Mother Nature or gifted to me by friends.
