Voice of Healing Light
 
This flute is part of a pair. They are Sisters and are to be used for healing and connecting. They are in many ways connected but also very individual and each has their own creation story. Both have already traveled to the United States and back. I chose the pieces to use for these flutes while in the US and started creating them in the UK. At this time in the UK, in the middle of Winter, it is a time of darkness and reflection. A time of healing and depth within. As I started creating her I felt healing vibrations, Universal and Earthly connection and above all light. Incredibly bright white light. I worked on her mostly in the evening in the soft light of my workshop but inside I was feeling so bright and illuminated. The day and nights had been filled with clouds and rain for over a week and this flute was already healing before she was even singing. On the day that she was going to sing her first words the sun was finally shining. It was in the evening when those word came and I brought her outside to play her for the first time and the sky was filled with stars. White light shined from infinity and beyond and this flute sang with such a resonance and deepness. I could feel her power as the melody flow through me from the heavens and I was seeing and feeling only light in the darkness of the night around me. It was an amazing experience.  As I continued to craft her I always felt Healing and Light. This flute is destined to help many though the songs that she sings and I hope she will help many to reconnect with Mother Earth and the Universe. In honour of your intention and inspiration, my experience creating her and how she sing I have named her Voice of Healing Light.
 
  She is in the key of F#4 at 432Hz and is 48.5cm (19”). She is made of natural bamboo and I use a combination of burning, sanding and polishing which gives each of these flutes a wonderful smooth finish and unique colour pattern. The stone setting in the body of Pearl. She has 6 finger holes and is tuned to a pentatonic minor scale.The Totem is made from Cherry and has eyes of turqoise. The wood was collected in the forest by my father to make his own beautiful objects. It is held in place with leather lace from North American Whitetail Deer hide. Finger hole #4 is also covered with the same lace. This can be slid up and down at any time to change this flute between a 5 hole and 6 hole configuration.The blue and red lashing is of waxed cotton whipping cord and the natural colour lashing at either end is artificial sinew. The feathers are tied on with leather cord and they are from Swan and Barred Owl which as always were found while I am out with Mother Nature.

Voice of Guiding Light
 
This flute is part of a pair. They are Sisters and are to be used for healing and connecting. They are in many ways connected but also very individual and each has their own creation story. Both have already traveled to the United States and back. I chose the pieces to use for these flutes while in the US and started creating them in the UK. At this time in the UK, in the middle of Winter, it is a time of darkness and reflection. A time of healing and depth within. I started creating this flute the day after I  finished Voice of Healing Light. Her Energy was still very much with me and I had her next to me the whole time. I read through your Intentions and Inspirations before I started and the vision of this flute became so clear. Healing, Loving and Guiding to Enlightenment. When her first words came I was so happy to hear that she had “the warble”. It’s such a magical thing when it happens. Although these flutes are sisters and are similar in many ways they also each have their own distinct characteristics and this warble is just one of them. As I began to tune them more magic was happening as I felt them being played together. I could feel such peace inside as their melodies flowed through me. I know the duality and connectedness of Yin/Yang are important to you both and there is much of that in these flutes. Not complete opposites but a shared voice, each with their own power and beauty. This flute I feel will be strong and powerful in helping to bring people to where they need to be in their own growth and expansion. For this I have named her Voice of Guiding Light. With her sister Voice of Healing Light I am sure you both will play many wonderful songs of the heart and help may along their path.

She is made of black bamboo and I use a combination of burning, sanding and polishing which gives each of these flutes a wonderful smooth finish and unique colour pattern. The stone setting in the body of Red Jasper. She has 6 finger holes and is tuned to a pentatonic minor scale.The Totem is made from Cherry and has eyes of Sodalite. The wood was collected in the forest by my father to make his own beautiful objects. It is held in place with leather lace from North American Whitetail Deer hide. Finger hole #4 is also covered with the same lace. This can be slid up and down at any time to change this flute between a 5 hole and 6 hole configuration.The red lashing is of waxed cotton whipping cord and the natural colour lashing at either end is artificial sinew. The feathers are tied on with leather cord and they are from Crow and Barred Owl which as always were found while I am out with Mother Nature.
