Healing Path
 
This flute is inspired by my continuing path of healing.  Her 
Not only the healing of others but also myself. Each step is journey of self-realisation and discovery.  Sometimes at first these self truths hidden for so long are hard to understand and accept but they are not my enemy. They are my strongest allies. Especially once I understand how they came to be part of me.  It’s a journey of acceptance and once I have made peace with these parts of me I can then use them to bring light into places that were previously shrouded in darkness. It’s not easy but alway so rewarding as I grow and shine brighter. As I know myself more deeply I am able to help others so much better and this is really becoming my true calling in this life. To unconditionally listen, love and shine light upon myself and all those around me. This flute sings with such ease and clarity and in honour of this most gracious and humbling journey I name this flute
Healing Path.
 
She is in the key of G tuned to 432Hz. She is made of Red Cedar sustainably sourced from British Columbia, Canada. I use a combination of burning, sanding and polishing which gives each of these flutes a wonderful smooth finish and unique colour pattern. The block which is made of from a Eastern Red Cedar that my dad foraged in Upstate New York. It is held in place with leather lace from North American Whitetail Deer hide and has Turquoise eyes. The stone inlays on the body of the flute are also Turquoise representing the opening of the throat chakra to help us to speak our truth.  The lashing at each end is artificial sinew. The feathers are of Wild Turkey that my brother in law foraged New York State and crow, which as was found here in the UK while walking with Mother Nature.
